Job Description

As an Environmental Compliance Advisor, you'll be responsible for overseeing compliance with environmental regulations, conducting assessments, and providing guidance to internal teams. The ideal candidate will have experience in environmental management and a firm grasp of relevant legislation.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough audits to ensure adherence to environmental laws and regulations.
  • Advise on the development of environmental management plans.
  • Stay updated on changes in environmental legislation and best practices.
  • Support the preparation of environmental impact assessments.
  • Facilitate training sessions for staff on compliance issues.
  • Oversee the implementation of compliance action plans.
  • Review and update compliance policies and procedures as necessary.
  • Investigate incidents of non-compliance and recommend corrective measures.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, or related field
  • Postgraduate qualifications in a relevant area are an advantage
Experience
  • Minimum of 5 years of practical experience in environmental compliance
