Job Description

We are seeking passionate Tour Guides and Escorts to lead educational tours that promote awareness of environmental issues and sustainability. Ideal candidates will engage diverse groups, providing rich and informative experiences that foster understanding and connection to our planet.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging tours that effectively communicate key environmental concepts.
• Engage with diverse audiences, tailoring presentations to their interests.
• Assist in the development of new educational materials and resources.
• Conduct evaluations and feedback sessions post-tours to improve offerings.
• Build relationships with community partners to enhance educational initiatives.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Education, Environmental Science, or a related field
• Teaching certification or equivalent experience preferred

Experience

• 2+ years of experience in environmental education or related field

Technical Skills

• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Strong organisational skills

Soft Skills

• Passionate about environmental education
• Team collaboration

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with project management or grant writing: Demonstrated ability to manage projects effectively or seek funding.
• Experience with social media and marketing: Ability to promote educational initiatives through various platforms.
• Experience with outdoor education programs: Background in facilitating educational experiences in natural settings.
