Job Description

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Orchestra Teacher to join our esteemed music institution. As an Orchestra Teacher, you will be responsible for leading and instructing students in various orchestral instruments, fostering their love for music, and enhancing their musical abilities.

Responsibilities

  • Lead rehearsals and provide individual and group instruction on instruments within the orchestra.
  • Create a supportive and inclusive learning environment for students of all backgrounds.
  • Evaluate and support students' musical growth through tailored feedback.
  • Coordinate logistical aspects of performances and ensure all students are well-prepared.
  • Foster a love for music among students, inspiring them to achieve their best.
  • Actively engage with parents and guardians regarding student progress and events.
  • Participate in community outreach programs to promote the music department.
  • Collaborate with administrative staff to enhance music offerings.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Music Education or a related field
  • Master's degree is preferred
Experience
  • A minimum of 2 years of teaching experience, preferably in an orchestra setting.
