Animal Behavior Specialist

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Animal Behavior Specialist who will work closely with both animals and their owners to develop effective training programs and improve animal behaviour. You will utilise your expertise to address behavioural issues and promote a positive relationship between pets and their owners.

Responsibilities

• Assess behavioural issues in animals and suggest appropriate interventions.
• Create resources and materials to aid in the education of pet owners.
• Facilitate group training sessions and individual consultations.
• Stay updated on the latest research and techniques in animal behaviour.
• Participate in outreach programs to promote awareness of animal welfare issues.
• Foster a positive environment for animals during training sessions.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Zoology or Behavioural Science
• Professional certifications related to animal behaviour are preferred

Experience

• 3-5 years of hands-on experience working with animals
