Gasket Supervisor

Job Description

The Gasket Supervisor will oversee the production and maintenance of gaskets in our manufacturing plant. This key role involves managing a team of technicians, ensuring quality control, and maintaining inventory levels while driving continuous improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Lead the gasket production team ensuring targets are met on time.
• Implement quality assurance procedures to maintain high product standards.
• Manage inventory and procurement of materials for gasket manufacturing.
• Create efficient work schedules to optimise production output.
• Continuously evaluate production processes for improvement.
• Train new technicians on best practices and safety protocols.
• Conduct regular safety audits to ensure a safe working environment.
• Manage client communications regarding supply schedules and production updates.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or related field

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in a supervisory role within manufacturing

Technical Skills

• Lean Manufacturing
• Health and Safety Regulations

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma: Knowledge of methodologies for optimizing production processes.
