Job Description

Join our dynamic team as a Patient Transporter, where you will ensure safe and comfortable transportation for patients. You will be a vital link between patients and healthcare staff, providing exceptional service and support.

Responsibilities

  • Efficiently transport patients, ensuring their comfort and dignity throughout the process.
  • Coordinate with nursing staff for timely patient pick-ups and drop-offs.
  • Participate in safety drills and training sessions.
  • Monitor and report changes in patient conditions to medical staff.
  • Assist in preparing transport documentation and logs.
  • Provide emotional support to patients and their families during transport.
  • Help with loading and unloading patients with special needs.
  • Ensure all equipment used for transport is safe and in good working order.

Requirements

Education
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
Experience
  • No prior professional experience required, but previous experience in a patient care role is beneficial.
Technical Skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Knowledge of basic medical terminology

  • Time management skills
Certifications
  • Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) preferred
Languages
