Job Description

As an Insurance Risk Officer at our Brighton office, you will be instrumental in identifying and analysing potential risks that could impact our insurance offerings. You will develop risk management strategies to mitigate these risks while ensuring compliance with industry regulations.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate risk exposure and develop mitigation plans.
• Create policies to manage risk effectively and in compliance with regulations.
• Communicate risk assessments to internal stakeholders.
• Utilise data analysis software to identify trends in risk factors.
• Coordinate with third-party vendors for risk evaluations.
• Prepare for and lead risk-related audits.
• Provide guidance on risk reduction strategies to different teams.
• Monitor market trends to identify potential risks.
• Revise risk management procedures based on stakeholder feedback.
• Ensure risk management principles are integrated into daily operations.

Requirements

Education

• Master's degree in Insurance or Risk Management is a plus
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field

Experience

• 5+ years in a risk-related role within an insurance environment

Technical Skills

• Quantitative Risk Assessment

• Fellowship of the Chartered Insurance Institute (FCII)
