Job Description

Join our caring team as a Childcare Worker, where you will support the development and well-being of children. You’ll plan engaging activities, maintain cleanliness and safety, and ensure a nurturing space for every child.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the supervision and care of children in the nursery.
  • Create and oversee various engaging activities suitable for different age groups.
  • Ensure a hygienic and safe space for children to learn and play.
  • Take part in mealtime activities to meet children's dietary needs.
  • Document and report on children's development and daily experiences.
  • Foster a warm and nurturing environment where children feel valued.
  • Work collaboratively with other staff members to enhance the educational experience.
  • Maintain accurate records in compliance with nursery policies.

Requirements

Education
  • Minimum of GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths
  • Childcare-related qualifications (e.g., CACHE Level 2 or 3) (desirable)
Experience
  • Prior experience working with young children in a nursery or similar setting
