We are on the lookout for a passionate Pet Groomer to join our dynamic team in Brighton. If you have a love for animals and expertise in grooming, we want you! The ideal candidate will have experience with various breeds and be committed to providing quality grooming services. You will be responsible for bathing, cutting, and styling pets, ensuring their safety and comfort throughout the grooming process.

Responsibilities

• Groom a wide range of dog and cat breeds, ensuring their needs are met.
• Maintain grooming equipment and ensure all tools are sanitized.
• Educate pet owners on proper pet care and hygiene.
• Assist in the training of new groomers as needed.
• Respond to customer inquiries and handle any grooming-related concerns.

Requirements

Education

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Certification in animal care is a plus

Experience

• 3+ years of grooming experience preferred

Technical Skills

• Pet Styling
• Skin and Coat Care

• Empathy
• Time Management

Certifications

• Pet First Aid Certification
• Certified Professional Groomer (CPG)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Knowledge of dog training techniques: Experience with basic training methods to assist in grooming.
• Ability to perform pet photography: Skills in capturing images of pets after grooming.
