Job Description

We are looking for a skilled and reliable Milk Pickup Driver to join our logistics team. As a Milk Pickup Driver, you will be responsible for collecting milk from various farms and ensuring timely deliveries to our processing plant. Your role is vital in maintaining the quality of our products during transport.

Responsibilities

• Transport milk efficiently from farms, ensuring minimal waiting times.
• Record details of each collection and delivery trip.
• Be proactive in ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Maintain a clean and organized vehicle.
• Provide top-notch customer service to farm owners and processors.
• Monitor and report storage conditions of milk during transport.
• Assist with inventory controls and product tracking.
• Use GPS systems effectively for route planning.
• Communicate effectively with warehouse staff regarding delivery schedules.
• Participate in training sessions on safety and quality standards.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent

Experience

• Prior experience as a Milk Pickup Driver or in a similar role is preferred.

Technical Skills

• Valid UK Driving License
• Knowledge of Road Safety Regulations
• Basic Vehicle Maintenance Knowledge

Certifications

• Valid Driver CPC Qualification

Languages
