Job Description

We are actively seeking a motivated Machine Feeder and Offbearer. The successful candidate will operate equipment and manage the flow of materials into and out of the crusher. This role demands both strong technical skills and a commitment to safety.

Responsibilities

• Control and monitor the performance of crushing equipment, ensuring smooth operations.
• Participate in safety meetings and uphold a culture of safety within the team.
• Assist in the setup and calibration of equipment as required.
• Document daily production statistics and report any anomalies.
• Adhere to environmental regulations and practices related to material handling.
• Participate in regular training sessions to improve skills and safety knowledge.

Requirements

Education

• Certificates in heavy machinery operation or related fields

Experience

• 1-2 years of experience in the heavy machinery industry

Technical Skills

• Knowledge of safety regulations
• Basic computer skills

Soft Skills

• Strong communication
• Attention to detail

Certifications

• Additional heavy machinery certifications

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Training in health and safety: Certification in health and safety regulations relevant to heavy machinery.
• Experience in a similar role: Prior experience as a machine feeder or in material handling.
