Mechanical Developer Prover

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Mechanical Developer Prover to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical development and proven expertise in the industry, focusing on design, testing, and optimization of mechanical systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead design projects from concept through production.
• Utilise CAD software for designing mechanical systems.
• Conduct testing of prototypes to validate design functionality.
• Integrate feedback from testing into the design process.
• Collaborate with suppliers and manufacturing personnel.
• Assist in the development of project scopes and timelines.
• Provide technical support and advice to junior engineers.
• Evaluate and implement improvements to existing designs.
• Participate in team meetings to report on project status and updates.
• Contribute to the development of best practice guidelines.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
• Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar discipline is preferred

Experience

• Proven experience of over 3 years in mechanical systems development

Technical Skills

• Expertise in mechanical design and analysis principles
• Familiarity with industry standards and regulations

Soft Skills

• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Project management abilities

Certifications

• Lean Six Sigma Certification
• Quality Management Certification (ISO 9001) is preferred

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with FEA analysis: Hands-on experience with finite element analysis tools for structural integrity assessments.
• Familiarity with ISO standards: Understanding of ISO standards related to mechanical design.
