Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Drywall Carrier to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting drywall materials to construction sites, ensuring their safe and efficient delivery. This physical role demands strong teamwork and effective communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage the loading of drywall materials onto delivery vehicles.
• Safely transport products to designated locations with a focus on timeliness.
• Inspect the delivery vehicle and materials for safety and compliance.
• Collaborate with site supervisors to ensure proper delivery procedures.
• Follow health and safety guidelines to mitigate risk.
• Document delivery activities and issues encountered during transport.
• Maintain driver logs and adhere to company policies.
• Assist with maintaining cleanliness and organization of delivery vehicles.
• Participate in training and safety meetings as required.
• Support other team members during peak delivery times.

Advantageous

• Experience operating forklifts or other lifting equipment: Familiarity with operating construction-related machinery.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations in the construction industry: Understanding of safe practices and protocols on construction sites.
• Valid driving license: A driving license is necessary for roles that involve travel.
• Good geographical knowledge of local areas: Ability to navigate local roads and routes effectively.
