Job Description

We are seeking an IT Support Technician to join our Swansea team. The successful candidate will provide technical support, troubleshoot hardware and software issues, and ensure effective operation of IT systems. This role is crucial in maintaining user satisfaction and operational productivity.

Responsibilities

  • Install software updates and patches to ensure security compliance.
  • Assist in managing user accounts and permissions.
  • Conduct system audits to identify areas for improvement.
  • Support the IT Manager in various IT projects and initiatives.
  • Evaluate and recommend new technologies to improve operational efficiency.
  • Maintain a high level of customer service throughout all support interactions.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a related field
  • Certifications such as ITIL Foundation or CCNA are beneficial
Experience
  • 2+ years in a technical support or help desk role
