Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough risk assessments and financial evaluations of insurance applicants.
• Work closely with the claims department to ensure proper underwriting practices.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines and internal policies.
• Participate in underwriting committee meetings to discuss complex cases and strategies.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, or related field
• Postgraduate qualifications in Insurance or Risk Management is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in insurance underwriting

• Underwriting Software Proficiency
• Regulatory Knowledge

• Negotiation Skills

Certifications

• Google Professional Cloud Architect
• Certified ScrumMaster (CSM)

Languages

• English: Fluent
