Job Description

We are looking for a Certified Substance Abuse Counselor to join our team. You will play a pivotal role in providing counselling and support to individuals grappling with substance abuse issues. Your compassionate approach and robust knowledge of therapeutic practices will help clients navigate their recovery journeys.

Responsibilities

  • Develop personalised treatment plans based on client needs.
  • Facilitate awareness sessions on addiction for clients and families.
  • Conduct regular follow-up meetings with clients to assess progress.
  • Organise and participate in workshops related to substance abuse recovery.
  • Document all client interactions and sessions accurately.
  • Advocate for clients within the community and connect them to required resources.
  • Provide crisis intervention when necessary.
  • Maintain a respectful, professional boundary with all clients.
  • Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to enhance client outcomes.

Requirements

Education
  • Master's degree in Counseling or Social Work
  • Eligible for Clinical License
Experience
  • 3+ years of experience in substance misuse treatment.
