Job Description

As an Urban Developer in Cardiff, you will play a key role in shaping the city's landscape. You will work on comprehensive urban planning initiatives, collaborating with local authorities, stakeholders, and community groups to develop sustainable solutions that meet the needs of residents and businesses.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the development of urban plans, ensuring they contribute to community objectives.
  • Facilitate stakeholder meetings and feedback sessions to refine urban plans.
  • Oversee environmental impact assessments and mitigation strategies.
  • Collaborate with local businesses to integrate their needs into urban development.
  • Use GIS tools to map urban spaces and analyse data for decision-making.
  • Assist in drafting city policy recommendations based on project outcomes.
  • Ensure transparency and community involvement in project implementations.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Urban Studies or Environmental Science
  • Master's degree in Urban Planning is preferred
Experience
  • 5+ years of experience in local government or urban development
