Job Description

As an Agricultural Planner at our Clacton-on-Sea location, you will be responsible for developing plans and strategies that optimise agricultural productivity while ensuring sustainability and compliance with environmental regulations. Your expertise will lead projects that benefit local farmers and contribute to community development.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate land use and soil conditions to inform planning.
  • Collaborate with agronomists to provide tailored solutions.
  • Engage with local councils and government bodies.
  • Facilitate workshops for knowledge sharing in agriculture.
  • Develop educational materials on sustainable practices.
  • Assist in grant applications for agricultural funding.
  • Build partnerships with agricultural organisations.
  • Provide ongoing support to farmers in implementing plans.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Agronomy, Environmental Science, or related field
  • Professional certification in Agricultural Planning is a plus
Experience
  • 4+ years of experience in a similar role
