Job Description

As a Public Health Officer in Nottingham, you will play a crucial role in shaping health policies and programs that directly impact the community. This position requires a proactive approach to address health disparities and ensure public health initiatives are effectively implemented.

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate health promotion campaigns targeted at reducing disease prevalence.
  • Evaluate health outcomes related to public health programs and tailor initiatives accordingly.
  • Work with community organizations to enhance patient health and wellness.
  • Coordinate with social services to address social determinants of health.
  • Engage in research to track emerging health trends and propose proactive measures.
  • Build partnerships with universities and research organizations for program development.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Public Health or Health Sciences
  • Master's degree in Public Health or Environmental Health is preferred
Experience
  • 5+ years of experience in a public health role or related experience
