Job Description

We are seeking a Materials Engineering Technician to support the development, testing, and evaluation of various materials used in engineering processes. The role requires a meticulous approach and excellent problem-solving capabilities.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate the performance of materials under various conditions.
  • Support the development of innovative materials solutions.
  • Document experimental results and prepare reports for engineering teams.
  • Conduct detailed investigations into material failures.
  • Assist in maintaining laboratory equipment and supplies.
  • Collaborate with external vendors and suppliers for testing materials.
  • Provide technical support in the selection of materials for specific projects.
  • Communicate findings and recommendations to senior engineers.
  • Implement and adhere to quality management standards.
  • Train and mentor junior lab assistants and technicians.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Materials Engineering or closely related field
Experience
  • Experience with materials testing and analysis preferred
