Job Description

As a Burr Filer, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining machinery designed for burr filing in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role is critical to ensuring that all materials are processed smoothly, catering to our high standards of quality and production.

Responsibilities

• Set up and calibrate burr filing machinery for production runs.
• Monitor machinery operation and make adjustments as needed.
• Conduct quality checks on filed parts, ensuring compliance with specifications.
• Develop and implement processes for more efficient operation of the machinery.
• Engage in team meetings to discuss productivity and maintenance issues.
• Assist in training new employees on machinery operations and safety practices.

Requirements

Education

• Relevant vocational qualification

Experience

• Experience operating similar industrial machinery is advantageous.

Technical Skills

• Knowledge of safety regulations
• Familiarity with burr filing equipment

Soft Skills

• Effective communication

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Ability to read technical drawings: Skilled in interpreting and following technical documentation and drawings.
