Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Construction Manager to oversee our projects in Leeds. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing all phases of construction projects, ensuring quality, safety, and timely completion. You will work closely with various stakeholders to achieve project goals and maintain high standards of work.

Responsibilities

  • Lead site meetings with project teams and clients to discuss progress.
  • Evaluate subcontractor performance and provide feedback.
  • Create risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Ensure materials used are compliant with safety and quality standards.
  • Keep accurate records of construction activities and project milestones.
  • Assist in obtaining necessary permits and licenses for projects.
  • Collaborate with the design team to resolve any discrepancies in plans.
  • Provide mentorship and training to junior staff.
  • Maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors.
  • Report potential issues to the management before they escalate.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field
  • Professional certifications (e.g., PMP, RICS) are advantageous
