Job Description

We are seeking a compassionate Disability Examiner to evaluate the needs of individuals applying for disability benefits. You'll work closely with healthcare professionals to ensure that every assessment is accurate and fair, making a real difference in the lives of those you assist.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough assessments of individuals with disabilities.
  • Review medical records and documentation for evidence-based evaluations.
  • Perform face-to-face interviews to determine physical and mental capabilities.
  • Utilize various assessment tools to evaluate the impact of disabilities.
  • Draft comprehensive assessment reports with recommendations.
  • Adhere to legal parameters throughout all processes.
  • Work with the team to ensure consistent and reliable assessments.
  • Provide excellent customer service to individuals, addressing their needs empathetically.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in a healthcare or social science discipline
  • A Master's degree in a relevant field is preferred
Experience
  • Experience with case management and benefits systems is beneficial.
