Job Description

As a nematologist at our institution, you will lead research efforts aimed at understanding and mitigating the impact of nematodes on agriculture. We are looking for someone with a comprehensive grasp of nematode biology and ecology to join our team.

Responsibilities

  • Investigate the biology and behaviour of nematodes through rigorous research.
  • Design and carry out experiments exploring nematode effects on crop health.
  • Analyze data from field studies to develop targeted management protocols.
  • Mentor junior researchers and support their professional development.
  • Present findings at scientific conferences and workshops to share knowledge.
  • Contribute to grant writing and securing funding for ongoing research projects.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of research activities and findings.

Requirements

Education
  • PhD in Nematology, Biology, or related field
