Roustabout (Oil Rig Floorhand)

Job Description

We are seeking dedicated individuals to join our team as Oil Rig Floorhands. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting in the maintenance and operations of the oil rig floor, ensuring that all safety protocols are adhered to at all times. This is a physically demanding position that requires strong teamwork skills and the ability to work in challenging environments.

Responsibilities

• Support in rigging and de-rigging operations.
• Perform regular safety inspections on rig equipment.
• Assist in operating various drilling machinery under supervision.
• Ensure the rig floor is free from hazards and equipment is stored correctly.
• Help with the logistics of transporting drilling tools and equipment.
• Participate in maintaining high safety standards during operations.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent

Experience

• Experience operating drilling equipment and knowledge of safety procedures is advantageous.

Technical Skills

• Hydraulic System Knowledge
• Pneumatic System Knowledge

Soft Skills

• Problem-Solving
• Communication

Certifications

• Offshore Safety Certifications (BOSIET, MIST, etc.)
• Basic First Aid Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

• Experience in Hydraulic Systems: Hands-on experience with hydraulic rig systems and maintenance.
• Knowledge of Drilling Procedures: Understanding of drilling processes and safety protocols.
