Sports Physiologist

Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated Sports Physiologist to join our team in Wrexham. The successful candidate will assess and improve the physical performance of athletes through tailored exercise programmes and rehabilitation techniques. You will work closely with clients to develop bespoke fitness strategies and provide support in overcoming physical challenges.

Responsibilities

• Assess clients' physical capabilities and limitations for tailored training plans.
• Implement rehabilitation protocols for sports injuries.
• Engage in interdisciplinary teamwork for holistic athlete support.
• Utilise data management systems to track performance progress.
• Conduct workshops on sports nutrition and wellbeing.
• Provide one-on-one consultations with clients regarding fitness goals.
• Implement evidence-based practices and innovations in sports physiotherapy.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Sports Science or related field
• Master's degree in Sports Physiotherapy is desirable

Experience

• 2+ years of experience in sports physiotherapy or a related field
