Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Fire Protection Engineering Technician to join our dynamic team. This role involves assisting in the design, installation, and maintenance of fire protection systems and equipment, ensuring compliance with relevant fire safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the design and implementation of fire safety strategies.
• Work alongside engineers to perform risk assessments, identifying potential fire hazards.
• Test, maintain, and troubleshoot fire safety equipment.
• Assist in training staff on fire safety protocols and emergency procedures.
• Document compliance with fire regulations and safety procedures.
• Act as a liaison with local fire departments and safety inspectors.
• Collaborate on multi-discipline project teams to achieve project goals.

Requirements

Education

• Associate degree in Fire Protection Engineering or related field
• Bachelor's degree is advantageous

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in fire protection or related engineering fields.

Technical Skills

• Hydraulic calculations
• Knowledge of standards

• Analytical skills
• Customer service orientation

Certifications

• Additional certifications in fire safety and prevention

Languages

• English: Fluent
