Job Description

As a Gasket Former, you will be tasked with creating and producing high-quality gaskets for a variety of industrial applications. This role requires an understanding of relevant tools and industry standards to ensure our products meet stringent specifications.

Responsibilities

• Produce gaskets according to detailed specifications and quality standards.
• Assist in operating and maintaining gasket cutting and forming tools.
• Conduct regular inspections of finished products to ensure compliance with industry standards.
• Manage inventory of materials and components to ensure uninterrupted production.
• Follow strict health and safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment.
• Work closely with design teams to provide feedback and improve gasket designs.
• Resolve production issues promptly to avoid delays.
• Maintain accurate records of production and quality metrics.
• Training new staff on equipment use and production processes.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance production efficiency.

Requirements

Education

• Vocational qualification in engineering or manufacturing (desirable)

Experience

• Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in gasket production or a similar manufacturing role.

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous
