Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Drilling and Boring Machine Tool Setter, Operator, and Tender to join our team in Birmingham. In this role, you will operate reaming machines to shape and smooth a variety of materials, ensuring precision and accuracy in all outputs. Ideal candidates will possess strong attention to detail and have a passion for quality engineering.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the precise operation of reaming machines, ensuring adherence to schedule.
• Conduct routine maintenance checks and report on machine status.
• Ensure all safety measures are followed to maintain a safe working environment.
• Keep detailed logs of machine settings, maintenance, and production outputs.

Requirements

Education

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Vocational training in a relevant field is advantageous

Experience

• 3 years of experience in a similar role preferred.

Technical Skills

• Proficient in CNC machines and programming
• Knowledge of measuring instruments

• Team work

Languages

• English: Fluent
