Job Description

We seek a skilled Pit Crane Operator to operate and maintain cranes safely and efficiently within a construction environment. The role demands proficiency in handling heavy loads and meticulous attention to safety protocols.

Responsibilities

  • Operate and control cranes within the pit area to ensure safety and efficiency.
  • Perform daily checks and routine maintenance on the cranes.
  • Lift and transport heavy loads, ensuring the safety of personnel and equipment.
  • Collaborate closely with site managers and other teams to ensure coordinated operations.
  • Adhere to all occupational health and safety guidelines in crane operation.
  • Document operational hours and maintenance logs for equipment.
  • Participate in ongoing safety training and certification programs.
  • Conduct safety briefings for crew members before operations commence.
  • Provide assistance in emergency situations and act according to protocols.
  • Ensure all safety gear is used and in compliance with regulations.

Requirements

Education
  • Relevant crane operation certifications preferred.
Experience
  • 3+ years of experience operating cranes in construction settings.
