Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Steel Worker who has substantial experience in steel fabrication and welding. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong knowledge of steel materials and provide excellent attention to detail in their work. This role requires an individual who can tackle various tasks efficiently whilst adhering to safety protocols.

Responsibilities

  • Carry out welding tasks following established procedures and safety standards.
  • Utilize cutting machines and other fabrication equipment efficiently.
  • Ensure the structural integrity of all fabricated steel components.
  • Collaborate with engineers to execute complex steel structures.
  • Conduct inspections throughout the production process to guarantee quality.
  • Assist in training new team members on safe practices and operational procedures.
  • Document and report any safety hazards or equipment malfunctions.
  • Contribute to the team’s goals by meeting production schedules.
  • Foster a positive team environment through effective communication.
  • Participate in safety meetings and ongoing training programs.

Requirements

Education
  • No formal qualifications required, but relevant certifications in steel fabrication and welding highly preferred.
Experience
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in steel fabrication and welding.
