Job Description

We seek a skilled Tool and Die Maker to join our manufacturing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for constructing and assembling precision fixtures used in plastic component production. Attention to detail, accuracy, and the ability to work as part of a team are essential for this role.

Responsibilities

• Design and assemble plastic fixtures to meet production needs.
• Conduct tests on fixtures to ensure durability and performance.
• Review and revise designs based on production feedback.
• Ensure all work adheres to quality standards and operational procedures.
• Foster a collaborative environment with other engineers and technicians.
• Utilise CAD software to assist with fixture design and modifications.
• Maintain accurate records of job processes and materials used.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent plus technical training
• Certifications in CAD software or machining are an advantage

Experience

• 3+ years of relevant experience in a manufacturing environment

Technical Skills

• Precision measuring instrument use
• Fixture design knowledge

Soft Skills

• Attention to detail
• Analytical thinking

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with CNC programming: Hands-on experience in programming CNC machinery for fixture production.
• Training in Six Sigma methodologies: Trained in Six Sigma techniques for enhancing manufacturing processes.
