Hand Driller

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Hand Driller to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for drilling and boring holes in a variety of materials using handheld drills and other equipment. The role requires excellent hand-eye coordination, physical stamina, and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Conduct site surveys and assess ground conditions prior to drilling.
• Assist with project planning and set up drilling rigs on-site.
• Maintain a clean and orderly work environment.
• Collaborate with geologists on rock formation analysis.
• Provide input on drilling performance for project optimizations.

Requirements

Education

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• CSCS card preferred

Experience

• Minimum of 2 years' experience in the construction industry, specifically as a Hand Driller

Technical Skills

• Heavy Machinery Operation
• Safety Compliance

Soft Skills

• Teamwork
• Attention to Detail

Certifications

• Valid driver's license
• CSCS card (preferred)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience in the mining or quarrying industry: Prior experience in a similar field will be beneficial.
