Job Description

The Radiation Technician is tasked with conducting diagnostic imaging tests such as X-rays, CT scans, and MRI scans. This role ensures that safety protocols are strictly adhered to while delivering accurate and timely results in collaboration with healthcare professionals.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic imaging tests while ensuring compliance with safety standards.
• Collaborate closely with other healthcare staff, including nurses and doctors.
• Update and maintain accurate patient records.
• Educate patients post-procedure regarding care and safety.
• Monitor equipment functionality and report issues immediately.
• Participate in quality assurance programs.
• Conduct regular checks on radiation safety protocols.
• Support in training new staff on imaging equipment usage.
• Attend professional development training sessions.
• Provide assistance in emergency procedures as needed.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology or related field

Experience

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Radiation Technician.

Certifications

• ARRT certification
