Quality Assurance Tester

Job Description

We are seeking a Quality Assurance Tester to join our Cardiff team! In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our software products by designing and executing test plans, reports, and working closely with developers to identify and resolve defects. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail and a passion for improving software quality.

Responsibilities

• Create detailed, well-structured test documents and functional specifications.
• Work closely with product managers to understand requirements.
• Design and maintain automated test scripts using test automation tools.
• Participate in daily stand-up meetings with the development team.
• Contribute to the development of best practices in quality assurance.
• Perform testing of new functionality within timelines.
• Provide training and mentorship to new QA team members.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering or a related field

Experience

• 3+ years of proven experience in Quality Assurance

Technical Skills

• Test Automation

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Knowledge of performance testing tools: Experience with performance testing tools such as LoadRunner or JMeter.
