The Christmas Tree Farm Crew Boss is integral to our operations, responsible for supervising and managing a team of workers on our farm. This role entails overseeing daily activities, maintaining quality standards, and ensuring adherence to safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily operations with a focus on efficiency and productivity.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Oversee the maintenance of farm equipment and tools.
• Manage the seasonal workforce, including scheduling and performance evaluations.
• Prepare reports on production and sales figures for management review.
• Develop and implement training programs for crew members.
• Engage with customers to promote tree sales and provide support.
• Conduct regular inspections of tree quality and farm conditions.
• Assist with marketing and promotional activities during the festive period.
• Participate in farm planning meetings to improve operational efficiency.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent

Experience

• At least 3-5 years of experience in a supervisory role within the agriculture or horticulture industry.
