Job Description

As a Public Health Policy Officer at our Middlesbrough office, you will play a key role in developing and implementing health policies that benefit the community. You will collaborate with various stakeholders to promote health equity and address public health challenges.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development of health initiatives that align with local and national frameworks.
  • Collaborate with health professionals to implement community-based interventions.
  • Collect and analyze qualitative and quantitative data to inform policy adjustments.
  • Facilitate training workshops on public health policy for stakeholders.
  • Monitor and evaluate the impact of health policies on target populations.
  • Prepare policy briefs and position papers for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Interface with governmental and non-governmental organizations to enhance health outcomes.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Public Health or related field
  • Master's degree in Public Health or Health Policy is preferred
Experience
  • 4+ years in public health roles, particularly in policy development
