Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our team as a Procurement Clerk. In this role, you will support procurement activities, ensuring the timely and cost-effective acquisition of goods and services. You will negotiate with suppliers and maintain accurate records.

Responsibilities

  • Support the procurement team in sourcing and selecting suppliers.
  • Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts with suppliers.
  • Place purchase orders and track deliveries to ensure timely fulfilment.
  • Maintain detailed records of procurement activities.
  • Coordinate with relevant stakeholders to ensure smooth order fulfilment.
  • Analyse purchasing data to inform future procurement decisions.
  • Assist in evaluating supplier performance and implementing improvements.
  • Contribute to cost-saving initiatives and process enhancements.
  • Keep abreast of market conditions and procurement regulations.
  • Facilitate communication between suppliers and internal teams.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field
  • Additional certifications in procurement are advantageous
Experience
  • Experience in supplier evaluation and contract negotiation.
