Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Woodworking Machine Setter to join our team. The role involves safely and efficiently operating woodworking machinery to ensure high-quality production and adherence to safety standards.

Responsibilities

  • Operate CNC machines and other woodworking tools.
  • Monitor machine operations to ensure proper functionality.
  • Train junior staff on machine operation and safety protocols.
  • Prepare materials and adjust machinery for various woodworking tasks.
  • Perform quality checks and maintain production logs.
  • Implement safety measures and report hazards.
  • Assist in inventory management of materials.

Requirements

Education
  • NVQ Level 2 in Woodworking or equivalent
Experience
  • 2+ years of experience in a similar role
