We are seeking a meticulous Plate Corrector to join our dynamic team. The role involves identifying and correcting any errors or imperfections on metal plates to ensure high-quality output. As a Plate Corrector, you will play a critical role in maintaining our production standards and contributing to the overall efficiency of our manufacturing processes.

Responsibilities

• Correct imperfections on plates to ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Utilize measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers.
• Work alongside other operators to enhance production workflows.
• Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization in the work area.
• Document any changes made to plates during the correction process.
• Participate in team meetings to discuss improvements in production.
• Implement safety guidelines while handling metalworking tools.

Requirements

Education

• Certification in metalworking is advantageous

Experience

• Experience with plate correction in a production environment is preferred

Technical Skills

• Strong hand-eye coordination

Advantageous

• Familiarity with different types of metal plates: Understanding of various metal properties and how they affect corrections.
• Experience with quality control tools: Knowledge of tools used for ensuring metallurgical quality.
