Job Description

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Veterinary Surgeon to join our team at the Veterinary Clinic of Aberdeen. The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, treating, and preventing illnesses in animals, while ensuring a high level of care and comfort.

Responsibilities

  • Assess and treat a range of species including dogs, cats, and small mammals.
  • Educate clients on preventative health care and vaccination schedules.
  • Conduct wellness exams for pets and address any concerns from owners.
  • Maintain effective communication with clients regarding diagnoses and treatments.
  • Guide veterinary support staff in patient handling and care.
  • Participate actively in case discussions and team meetings.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Veterinary Science
  • Specialist qualifications in veterinary surgery are a plus.
Experience
  • 4+ years of clinical experience in veterinary settings
