Job Description

We are on the lookout for a meticulous Veneer Stock Grader to join our production team in Glasgow. The successful candidate will be responsible for inspecting, sorting, and grading veneer sheets, ensuring only the highest quality materials are used. This role is vital to maintaining our reputation for excellence.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough quality inspections of veneer sheets before processing.
• Collaborate with production staff to manage veneer supply efficiently.
• Document grading results and assist in inventory management.
• Ensure that equipment used in grading is properly maintained and calibrated.
• Participate in regular training sessions to keep up-to-date with industry standards.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent

Experience

• Prior experience in veneer grading or a related field is preferred.
