Job Description

A Bobbin Fixer plays a crucial role in the operation of textile machinery by repairing and maintaining bobbins essential for production. This position requires keen attention to detail and mechanical aptitude to ensure quality standards are met.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular inspections of bobbins to identify issues.
• Carry out necessary repairs promptly to minimize production downtime.
• Set up bobbin winders according to production requirements.
• Resolve technical problems with machinery as they arise.
• Document all maintenance activities performed.
• Work with production staff to forecast bobbin needs.
• Execute preventative maintenance on all relevant equipment.
• Follow established safety guidelines to ensure workplace safety.
• Assist in the onboarding and training of new technicians.
• Engage in continuous improvement initiatives for operational efficiencies.

Requirements

Education

• No formal qualifications required, but a mechanical background is preferred.

Experience

• Prior experience in bobbin fixing or a similar role is preferred.
