Job Description

Join our Birmingham team as a Manufacturing Supervisor, where you will oversee production workflows, ensure adherence to quality standards, and lead a dedicated team of operators. Your role will be pivotal in driving efficiency and fostering a culture of safety and teamwork.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate manufacturing activities to meet production schedules.
  • Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures in all manufacturing operations.
  • Promote a culture of safety and accountability among all team members.
  • Identify training needs and facilitate continuous learning opportunities.
  • Assist in the planning and execution of maintenance schedules for equipment.
  • Communicate effectively with all stakeholders regarding production status.
  • Drive lean manufacturing initiatives to increase operational efficiency.
  • Conduct performance reviews and support team members’ career growth.

Requirements

Education
  • Engineering degree or equivalent vocational training
Experience
  • 5+ years in a manufacturing environment with supervisory experience

Certifications
  • HND or equivalent in Manufacturing or Engineering
  • Lean Six Sigma Certification

  • Project Management experience: Understanding of project management principles and practices applicable to manufacturing.
