Job Description

As a Space Weather Forecaster, you will be pivotal in predicting solar activities and their impacts on modern technology. Your role involves developing models, analysing data, and communicating critical forecasts to various sectors.

Responsibilities

  • Utilize advanced software for solar data modelling and analysis.
  • Attend and contribute to scientific conferences and workshops.
  • Collaborate on interdisciplinary projects with other scientists.
  • Actively participate in space weather monitoring initiatives.
  • Provide expert guidance during significant solar events.
  • Develop engagement strategies for communicating risks to stakeholders.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Space Physics, Astrophysics, or a related field
  • Master's degree is preferred
Experience
  • 2+ years in space weather forecasting or similar role
