Job Description

We are on the lookout for Data Entry Keyers, commonly known as Teletypists, to efficiently operate various teletyping machines in our telecommunications division. In this role, you will be responsible for receiving and transmitting data, managing messages, and ensuring error-free documentation. If you have strong typing skills and keen attention to detail, we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities

• Receive and transmit critical data via teletype systems.
• Maintain diligent records of all messages sent and received.
• Ensure the quality and accuracy of transmitted data.
• Collaborate with colleagues to enhance operational efficiency.
• Identify and address any discrepancies or errors in data entries.
• Keep track of equipment functionality and perform necessary maintenance.
• Deliver high levels of customer service through effective communication.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent

Experience

• Previous experience in telecommunications is advantageous

Technical Skills

• Teletype Machine Operation
• Data Entry Software

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with data processing applications: Hands-on experience with Microsoft Office or similar software.
