Registered Nurse (Perioperative Nurse)

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our perioperative team, responsible for delivering high-quality care to patients pre, during, and post-surgery. The ideal candidate will have experience in surgical settings and a passion for patient advocacy.

Responsibilities

• Conduct preoperative assessments to ensure patient readiness.
• Prepare and assist in surgical procedures, ensuring sterile environments.
• Monitor anesthetic levels and respond to any complications during surgery.
• Educate patients and families about postoperative care and recovery.
• Maintain accurate records of patient care and interventions.
• Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to enhance patient outcomes.
• Stand by during operations, providing support and assistance as needed.
• Uphold hygiene standards and infection control protocols.

Requirements

Education

• Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) or relevant field

Experience

• Experience working in an operating room or surgical centre is preferred
