Job Description

As an Electrical and Instrumentation Technician, you will be responsible for the maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical systems within substations and relays. This role requires a keen understanding of both electrical and instrumentation disciplines, ensuring optimal performance and compliance with safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Implement preventive maintenance strategies for electrical systems.
• Collaborate frequently with cross-functional teams to resolve issues.
• Create detailed reports on maintenance works and incidents.
• Maintain an inventory of necessary parts and tools.
• Ensure all work is carried out to the highest safety standards.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements within the team.
• Assist in training new staff and interns.

Requirements

Education

• HND or equivalent in Electrical Engineering

Experience

• Minimum of 5 years in a similar role.

Technical Skills

• Control valves and transmitters

Soft Skills

• Attention to detail
• Adaptability

Certifications

• NEBOSH Certificate in Safety Management

Languages

• English: Fluent
