Job Description

As an Extruding, Forming, Pressing, and Compacting Machine Setter, Operator, and Tender, you will play a vital role in our bakery operations. You will be responsible for operating and monitoring machinery to ensure the production of high-quality pretzels and baked goods.

Responsibilities

• Run machinery according to production schedules while adhering to strict quality guidelines.
• Respond promptly to any machine faults or production issues.
• Liaise with supervisors and managers regarding production output and machinery condition.
• Participate in routine maintenance checks and report any repairs needed.
• Uphold good housekeeping practices in the workplace.

Requirements

Education

• GCSEs or equivalent

Experience

• Prior experience operating and maintaining machinery in a food production environment is essential.

Technical Skills

• Machinery operation
• Basic troubleshooting

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience in the snack food industry: Hands-on experience in a fast-paced bakery or snack production environment.
