Job Description

We are seeking a Public Health Coordinator to join our team in Middlesbrough. The successful candidate will facilitate public health initiatives and collaborate with various stakeholders to enhance community health standards.

Responsibilities

  • Strategize and develop innovative public health solutions.
  • Engage with the community to gather feedback on health needs.
  • Conduct training for staff and volunteers on health promotion techniques.
  • Manage relationships with funding bodies and report on grant activities.
  • Identify potential public health hazards and propose proactive measures.
  • Collaborate on research projects to improve health standards.
  • Supervise program staff and volunteers to ensure effective delivery.
  • Represent the organisation at community events and health fairs.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Public Health or relevant field
  • Master's degree in Public Health is preferred
Experience
  • 3+ years of experience in community health or public health policy
